Unlike its neighbouring islands, Fuerteventura has gained the nickname ‘island of eternal spring’, owed to by its pleasant weather throughout the year. During the summer months of June through to August temperatures often hit 30ºC, factor in a low humidity with non-existent rainfall and it makes for the perfect destination for summer sunshine. Winter months are enjoyably mild with average temperatures of 20ºC. There is an increased probability of rain between the months of December and March, however showers are usually short-lived and localised; due to Fuerteventura’s location, it rarely experience prolonged showers or any form of weather extremes as Lanzarote shelters the island.
