Cities and small towns in other regions such as Playa de Mallorca, Raiguer, Migjorn and Llevant also attract a fair amount of tourists.

The King of the Balearics, Majorca is a favourite amongst British holidaymakers and is visited by millions of tourists each year. There is plenty to see and do including great shopping and nightlife opportunities, along with a plethora of restaurants and tapas bars, or you may choose to relax at the pristine beaches and sheltered coves. Along with sightseeing tours, or visit the Serra de Tramuntana mountains for some amazing breath-taking scenery or visit the Cathedral Le Seu, scuba and snorkelling are also popular things to do. No matter how long your stay is there are more sights and adventures waiting to be discovered!

Important Information about your Majorca holiday

Please be informed that the Balearic Parliament has introduced a Sustainable Tourism Tax which will be applicable to all clients staying in Majorca. This applies to any person 16 years or older on the day of arrival and staying at any type of accommodation. The tax is charged per person per night at the following rate: 5-star and 4-star superior hotels and 4 key apartments: 4 euros, 4 star and 3-star superior hotels and 3 key superior apartments: 3 euros, 1, 2 and 3-star hotels and 1, 2 and 3 key apartments: 2 euros. During the winter season (1st November - 30th April) a 75% discount will apply to these rates. Long stays will also be discounted by 50% after the 9th day. VAT will apply to the tax at 10%.
